“I’m from France but I have been living in Cambodia for four years. I used to work in a ski resort in France as a waiter manager for ten years before I came here. I moved because I got a job as a diver’s instructor in this beautiful place on the west side of the island of Koh Rong Sanloem. While working I noticed the high trees in the frontline of the shore. I remembered that my friend back in France who is a tree climber had these tents meant to be set up between trees and I started to wonder if it was possible to start a lodging business with these tents as accommodation units. I talked to the landowner and when I found out that a part of the beach was up for rent I asked my brother (who happens to be a tree climber as well!) what he thought of the idea, and together we decided to give it a go!”
