“I thought it was going to be less work to get this business up and running. We started from scratch and built everything ourselves so that was a lot of hard work the first two years, but now it’s getting easier. And these days we can offer other accommodation options as well, like bungalows and tipis. Our friends back in France send us different ideas and say “why don’t you try this?” and we do and people really love it. We have now built everything we wanted to build, so nowadays it’s mainly the hosting part that takes up our time”.
