Lagårn - the renovation of the old barn

“We’re finally done now and our first guests will be here in a month! It’s been a long journey, but I would totally do it all over again!

In the winter of 2017 I remember scrubbing each and everyone of the old baulks, a seemingly never-ending job. But I put up a christmas light in one of the windows and brought some Swedish glögg with me and then just watched 100 years worth of dirt getting washed away, and the fantastic surface of the baulks emerge from underneath it. It was truly amazing.”
