“I recently moved into the house that once belonged to my grandparents. Next to the house there used to be a large barn. After finishing my mechanical engineer studies abroad I wanted to return home again. Rebuilding the barn into a small hotel became the solution for me to be able to settle down on the land of my family again and to make a living in my hometown.

The hotel opened 3 months ago. I did a lot of the construction work myself, despite having no previous experience of carpentering. However I had to be at my regular work as well, so I hired a construction worker to help me out. It was frustrating times because we really wanted to build something special. At the end I was really happy with the result.“
