“We met in Stockholm 2014 by chance. We had both just got back from long travels and happened to go to the same bar that night. We've been together everyday since and it didn't take long before we moved in together and had kids. We are both restless souls and not afraid of trying new things. We wanted to do something together, as a family. Something where we could include as many of our interests as possible. It didn't really matter what it was. We wanted it to be a challenge and we wanted it to be a lifestyle, full time. We talked about starting a clothing brand for kids or a food company of some sort. Then we remembered that Niclas, ever since childhood, had the dream of starting a hotel. It was something about owning your own hotel and the wide variety of activities going into that one thing. The service, rooms, bar, restaurant, the structure of the operations and what might be missing. We figured it would be a diverse job able to cover our interests in food, drinks, music, interior design and people.”
