“Through friends we got an offer to come as working guests at a B&B in Languedoc, France owned by a woman who needed some help. Our daughter Juli was just a few months old but we decided to try it out. We were there for a month and it was a good opportunity to see if we liked the lifestyle. We tested different activities and themes that went along with our interests such as song, music, cooking, drinks and decorations. We liked it and wanted to find a place of our own. We figured that if things didn't work out we could always find something else to do. To run a B&B in Sweden full time can be hard due to the seasons. We talked about the US, Spain and did some research on France. I had been to the French Riviera before and had a good feeling about it. We went there on vacation first in 2015 to check it out but did not find anything the first time. In February 2016 we went there again and this time we found the house we’ve been looking for.”
