“When we started we had very limited work experience in hospitality. I have been in transport since a young age. I had a mini coach company in Wales during the eighties and then I ran my own company in the UK for a long time. In 2010 I had enough and I wanted to try something new. Miguel worked within advertising in Manilla as a copywriter. In 2012 he got tired of that job and joined a tech company in Chicago. ‘I still work for them remotely alongside running Nora’s place. I do marketing for them and I am the content manager’ The software company helps businesses monitor and manage online reviews from Tripadvisor, Facebook, Google and about 80 other sites. ‘So, I help run our resort during daytime and do my other work during night time”
