“We started localheropitea to promote good examples on how to support local business during this time of crisis. The dream is that all local businesses that make Piteå (our town) amazing will still exist after the crisis. Together we can keep Piteå alive. We also want to inspire the larger local companies on how they can contribute. A sort of B-to-B matchmaking through us. Yesterday, I sold things for € 4000. A local construction company, Hellströms & Ansa bought 300 take away meals to their customers and employees from local restaurants. Of course I am happy if they decide to order pizza from us but I am equally happy to support the other restaurants as well. Now I am calling a local taxi company to see if they can drive food and goods for the people who don't want or can leave their home."
